The EU energy efficiency label is an energy evaluation scale used by the European Union to promote energy saving lighting and electrical appliances. As per regulations, the European Union energy label must be attached and clearly visible in the front or on the top of each electrical item. The evaluation scale gives information about the energy consumption of that electrical item. It is organised into classes from A to G, where A represents the best class (low consumption) and to G the worst (high consumption).
